Affirmation Writing for Queer Bodies (digital download)
What’s included: A virtual workshop you can do at home! Invite friends over or spend quality time with yourself. You will learn about inherent worth, respecting your no, and how to write affirmations that honor your lived experiences.
This 18 page digital slide deck is based on a live workshop Hannah developed. Here’s what she has to say about her intentions for anyone participating in the live workshop or digital self guided work shop:
“As queer folx, our bodies are not always a safe place to be, and that can often mean we have very limited access to our inner experiences. I want to honor that while offering a new way of accessing the fullness of who you are- with affirmations. You will learn about how to write affirmations that feel true to your lived experience, rewire neural pathways in your brain, and challenge limiting beliefs from your past and society. This workshop emphasizes ease, comfort, and meeting yourself where you’re at. I believe self care can feel good, especially when we do it surrounded by community”.
Hannah is a queer, neurodivergent, trauma-informed designer and embodied space builder. She is in her final year of Somatic Experiencing® training (more info on that here) and is passionate about educating her community on how to reconnect with their intuition and authentic selves through their bodies. She specializes in using design and creativity to destigmatize mental health and make trauma-informed self care resources accessible within her community. (That was a lot of buzz words- but basically what that means is getting tools into the community that are based in neuroscience and safe for people who have experienced trauma.)
You can access this PDF for free when you join our Patreon- starting at $5/month. Patrons also get access to a monthly journaling call with Hannah to practice self care in community. https://www.patreon.com/CleverBabesCo
