How do I know if this group is for me?
-
We will meet twice a month to share our progress and give/receive feedback from the group. It is important that you come to as many meetings as possible. Even if you didn’t make any progress on your website you will benefit from seeing what others did and they will benefit from your feedback.
-
This group course will help you build and design your own website on Square Space. If you are looking for someone to build and design a custom website for you please email hannah@cleverbabes.co and she will give you more information on what that process looks like and costs.
-
This group course is best for people who have capacity to be present with their body. We use the body as a guide for the design process so access to your body is essential. Additionally, marketing yourself can bring up intense and uncomfortable experiences in the body such as imposter syndrome. Make sure you are ready to sit with whatever comes up and ask for support if you need it.
-
This group course is an affirming space for all sexual and gender identities.

Therapists/coaches/healers of color have likely had different experiences than white therapists in the field and in life. If you are not able to hold those experiences as valid without explanation this is not the group course for you.
Group Facilitator:
Hannah (she/her) is a queer somatic practitioner and trauma informed designer. Her approach to nervous system regulation and healing work is based on the belief that you already have everything you need to heal within you. You may need help accessing this information from your nervous system, but it is innate in each of us. She sees her role as a facilitator between you and this inner “knowing” as she calls it. She believes you are the expert on your life and ultimately you are the only one who knows what you need. Her work is consent based and she hopes to help participants connect with the sensation of no and feel comfortable expressing it to themselves and others. Read more about Hannah here.
Cancellation Policy:
Due to the limited amount of participants in this group there are no cancellations or refunds. When you sign up you agree to pay in full- including all four payments if you have a payment plan. If you cancel your subscription you will be sent an invoice for the remainder of your balance due immediately. Please make sure you are able to commit to the time and cost of the group course before signing up.

What my clients say about working with me on their creative projects:
“It's so freeing to be able to use a coping skill naturally instead of fighting to use one that only sort of works half the time. The skills I have developed truly feel like an extension of myself instead of a shoe that sort of fits. I'm so grateful.”
“These nights have been genuinely life changing. What's funny is that what I've learned has been life changing, but they have just been the smallest changes in my lifestyle. Like just recognizing that I don't breathe when I'm stressed, and learning how to recognize that in the moment and comfort my body?? GAME CHANGING.”
“I don't think I gave enough credence [before somatic journaling] to how discomfort in my body could affect everything or how vital comfort is, even in the form of eating a meal when hungry or putting on socks when the floor feels to floor for my feet.”
“I better understand what is going on in my body which creates a huge amount of space for me to just *be* without any sort of judgment. I love approaching things with curiosity.”
“I am better able to identify the ebbs and flows of my emotions and allow them to naturally progress. I think that's the coolest part! Just having the knowledge that pendulation EXISTS allows me to better cope and give space for anything that arises, comfortable or uncomfortable.”
“The concepts from Somatic Journaling brought things full circle for me and made the healing process feel more attainable with knowing I’m just riding this pendulation for life.”
“Somatic journaling helped me understand we have to feel all the feelings in order to fully appreciate them. We can't numb out the uncomfortable ones and expect not to numb out the comfortable ones. All feelings are worth feeling and processing.”
“My biggest take away from Somatic Journaling is gaining overall awareness of my physical body. I hadn't even realized how often I neglected myself and my own comfort.”
“I now believe I have everything I need within me to heal and care for myself. I can bring myself comfort and security physically and emotionally. Providing physical support helps ease emotional discomfort/distress.”
